10/17/55RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, did at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of October,
1955, adopt by final passage, Ordinance #274, regulating disposal
of garbage and trash and fixing fees and charges for the removal of
said garbage and trash, and,
WHEREAS, under Section 14 of said Ordinance #2~4 it
requires that the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, adopt a Resolution to fix rates and charges for removal
of said trash and garbage, and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of
the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, as follows:
1. That there shall be assessed for the service of
garbage and trash pick-up by the City of Boynton Beach against
each resident, occupant, firm or corporation, who shall have trash
and garbage pick-up to be serviced by the said City of Boynton Beach
pursuant to Ordinance #274, and the following charges shall be made
for such service:
(a): The sum of $1.00 shall be charged for garbage or
trash pick-up for each residence within the City of Boynton Beach.
For commercial establishments within the City of Boynton Beach there
shall be charged the minimum fee of $1.00 with the charges and
assessment being based upon volume of refuse at 1-1/2 cents per cubic
foot. All said assessment fees shall be payable in advance at the
City Hall, Boynton Beach, Florida.

Be it further resolved, that a discount of 5% shall
be allowed any person, firm or corporation for the payment of
one (1) years service charge in advance.
This Resolution passed and adopted unanimously this
17th day of October, 1955.
