02-07-55-1 R E S 0 L U T I O N WTIEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, did during its regular meeting held January 17, 19~, adoot a Resolution finding it necessary for o~mblic interest, that certain streets~ bou!evsrds, avenues, lanes~ 8ileys~ osrk- ways and other mublic highways located within the l~mits of the s~id City b~ improved by being built~ re~sired~resurfsced 8nd rebuilt~ ~nd did by said Resolution according to law~ authorize and direct the Superintendent of Dublic Works to oreosre an estimated [~cost for re~sir~ rebuilding~ re-surfacing and construction of said streets ss described in the said Resolution~ now~ therefore, BE IT RES]LV~D BY T~ CITY 0~~ BOYNDPN BWACH~ FLORIDA~ AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the following streets, roads, boulevards, avenues, lanes, alleys, oarkways and other oublic highways as here-t inafter described shall be constructed and/or rebuilt to a speci- fication as required by the laws of the City of Boynton Beach, said orooerty abutting the following described lots: Descriotion S.E. 4th Ave. between Green and $.E. 1st Street 1212 S.E. 1st Street between S.E. 1st Ave. and S.E. 3rd Ave. 1023 Number of Feet Estimated Cost $ 1333.3~ ll2F.? 2. The City Commission shall set as a Board to hear objections from abutting orooerty holders on February at the hour of 2:00 o'clock O.M. at the City Hall Building, Boynton Beach, Florida. 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to assess each of the abutting orooarty holders located and abutting the shove des- cribed streets, and to assess such orooerty holders on a front foot basis charging said owner his orooortionate share as divided by the i~norovement cost above estimated. The nrooerty holder shall have the orivilege of oaying the entire assessment at any time within 90 days from date of this Resolution, and failing to do so the Clerk shall, for three (3) co~}secutive years assess the said orooerty owner as lien against the oro~erty, a soecia]. assessment tax divided into three (3) installments, oayable as other ad valorem taxes are Paid with interest at the rate of 8% oer annum on the unnaid balance. 4. The Clerk shall oreoare an assessment roll showing the number of feet of each lot or osrcel of land fronting or abUtting uoon the imnrovements 8nd the amount of assessment as to each, and each lot shall be orooortionately so assessed.
