Upon motion made by Councilman _~
and seconded by Councilmen .~.~~_~ the following
resolution was duly passed and adontedl
WHEREAS, GULF STREAM BOULEVARD, a street of the
City of Boynton Beach, extending East and West aecross
the Railroad of the Florida East Coast Railway is a
public street, and;
WHEREAS, the said street is the only route of
transportation for residents of the City of Boynton
Beach to the NEW CONSOLYDATED HIGH SCHOOL, and l
~IEREAS~ there has been no suitable or satisfactory
Safety Signal Installed, and;
WHEREAS, it is dee~ed advisable and to the best
interest of the City of Boynton Beach and to the safety
of the inhabitants thereofs that a Signal Bell and Gates
be installed, so that the public in general and more
particularly our High School Students be rendered the
greatest possible degree of safety while crossing the
right-of-way of the Florida Fast Coast Railway Company.
NOW THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED, by the me.bets of the
City Council of the City of Boynton Beach~ Palm Beach
County, Florida, as followsl
That the Florida ~:ast Coast Railway Co.any be~
and it hereby is, requested to erect and maintain Safety Gates
and Signal Bell Warning Device at the GUlL STRFAM BOULEVARD
crossing, located at the south corporate limits of the City
of Boynton Beach~ Florida.
