A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR
SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, AND MAD DADS OF BOYNTON
BEACH, INC., AS A SUB-RECIPIENT OF
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
FUNDS (CDBG); AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTNE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach has entered into an agreement with
he United States Department of Housing and urban Development for a grant for the
xecution and implementation of a Community Development Block Grant Program
n certain areas of the City of Boynton Beach, pursuant to Title I of the Housing and
ommunity Development Act of 1974, (as amended); and
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach desires to enter into an Agreement
ith Mad Dads 0 f Boynton B each, I nc., a s a sub-recipient, who have previously
ubmitted all necessary documentation required, including budgets, scopes of
ervices, and time1ines for performance; and
WHEREAS, a copy of that Agreement is attached hereto and made a part
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
OMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1.
The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
oes hereby authorize execution of an Agreement between the City of Boynton
each, Florida and Mad Dads of Boynton Beach, Inc, as a sub-recipient of the
CBDG grant funds in the amount of $8,000.00.
Section 2.
This Resolution will become effective immediately upon
