STATE ROAD NO. 4 - CLAIM OF TOWN
OF BOYNTON BFACH, PALM BEACH
COUNTY, FLORIDA.
BE IT RESOLVED, that this Department does hereby
acknowledge its indebtedness to the Town of Boynton, in the
sum of $58,948.00, monies paid out by said town for the
construction, at the Department's request, of 18 feet in
width of pavement on State Road No. 4 through said town, the
said monies to be refunded to said ~own as and when available.

ment hereby certify that the above and forgoing is
a true and correct copy of excerpts of the minutes of
the State Road Department at a duly authorized meet-
ing thereof held in the City of Tallahassee on the
15th day of May, A. D., 1929.

After discussion of the above action by the State
Road Department, Commissioner Harry Benson move~ the adoption
of the following Resolution.
WHEREAS, The State Road Department has, acknowledged
its indebtedness to the Town of Boynton, in the sum of
$58,948.80 for monies paid out by the Town of Boynton for the
construction, at the request ~f the State Road Department,
of eighteen fee~ in.width of pavement on State Road No. 4,
through the Town of Boynton, the said monies to be refunded
to the Town of Boynton~as and when available;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Town
Commissioners of the Town of Boynton, Florida, that the
said Board of Town Commissioners does hereby accept the
acknowledgement by ResOlution of the State Road Department's
indebtedness to the Town of Boynton, in ~he sum of $58,948.80,
for the monies paid out by the Town of Boynton for the cons-
truction, at the request of the State Road Department, of
eighteen feet in width of pavement on State Road No; 4,
through the Town of Boynton, the said monies to be refunded as
and when available.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Clerk be and
~e hereby is ordered, authorized and directed ~o forward a
certified copy of this Resolution to the State Road Department,
and convey to them the thanks and appreciation for the generous
consideration given the Town of Boynton in this matter.
Commissioner S. L. Swindall seconded the motion for
the adoption of the above and foregoing Resolution, and upon
being put to a vote, ~he following vote was had thereon:-
