AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
ABOLISHING THE NUISANCE ABATEMENT BOARD;
REPEALING ORDINANCE 90-2; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida has determined that the operation of the
Nuisance Abatement Board is an inefficient solution to the
~urtailing of activities constituting a nuisance under the
terms of the enacting Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
)F THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section i. In accordance with the powers vested in
the City Commission pursuant to Section 23 of the City
2harter the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, hereby abolishes the Nuisance Abatement Board.
Section 2. In accordance with the powers of the
Zity Commission established by Charter, the City Commission
hereby repeals Ordinance 90-2.
