O89-41AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 89-32 TO CORRECT
A SCRIVENER'S ERROR CONTAINED THEREIN
RELATING TO THE SUM APPROPRIATED TO THE
GENERAL FUND; PROVIDING THAT EACH AND
EVERY OTHER TERM AND PROVISION OF
ORDINANCE NO. 89-32 SHALL REMAIN IN FULL
FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ENACTED;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of September, 1989, the City
Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, duly
adopted Ordinance No. 89-32; and
WHEREAS, it appears that a scrivener's error was made
in the amount appropriated to the General Fund for the
payment of operating expenses and necessary capital outlays
for the City Government; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission now desires to correct
said scrivener's error.
NOW, T~RREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 89-32 is
hereby amended by adding the words and figures in underlined
type as follows:
Section 2: That there is hereby
appropriated the sum of $R679~97698=88
$26,956,990.00 to the General Fund for
the payment of operating expenses and
necessary capital outlays for the City
Government pursuant to the terms of the
above budget.
Section 2: Each and every other provision of
Ordinance No. 89-32 shall remain in full force and effect as
previously enacted.
Section 3: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
