CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF SOUTH PALM BEACH COUNTY, INC., AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Commission approve a conveyance to the Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County, Inc., (Habitat) for a parcel of land adjacent to property currently owned by Habitat. The addition of this lot will enable them to construct a new home on the property; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, based upon staff recommendation, finds it to be in the best interests of the community and its residents to convey certain property to Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County, Inc., for the purpose of constructing one new single family home. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does hereby authorize and direct the City Manager to execute a Special Warranty Deed conveying certain property to Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach A copy of the Special Warranty Deed is attached hereto and made a part County. hereof.
