A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
AN AUTOMATED CLEARING HOUSE SERVICE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH AND NATIONSBANK, PROVIDING FOR
IMPLEMENTATION OF A DIRECT DEPOSIT
PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
AGREEMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission, at the recommendation of staff, deems it
to be in the best interests of the employees, residents and citizens of the City of
Boynton Beach to enter into an Agreement with NationsBank, which will allow for the
implementation of a direct deposit program, at the implementation of the bi-weekly
payroll.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Each Whereas clause set forth above is true and' correct and
incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
does hereby, and approves an Automated Clearing House Service Agreement
between the City of Boynton Beach and NationsBank, providing for implementation
of a direct deposit program; authorizing and directing the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute said Agreement, which is attached, hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
passage.
