AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH AMENDING THE CITY ORGANIZATIONAL
CHART; PROVIDING FOR A REPEALING CLAUSE;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING
AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREA~, it is the desire of the City Commission of the
City of Boynton Beach, Florida, to update the City
Organizational Chart by combining the Public Works
Department and Engineering Department to create a new
Department called Engineering and Public Works Department.
NOW, T~RREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Chapter 2, "Administration",
Article 1, Section 2-1 be amended by substituting the
attached City of Boynton Beach Organizational Chart for the
current Organizational Chart.
Section 2. That remaining provisions of Chapter 2,
which would not conflict with the provisions of Section 1 of
this Ordinance are hereby ratified and reaffirmed.
Section 3. Should any section or provision of this
ordinance or portion hereof, any paragraph, sentence, or
word be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall not affect the remainder of
this ordinance.
Section 4. Authority is hereby granted to codify
said ordinance.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
