AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 25. SECTION 25-7.
EXEMPTION FOR CONSTRUCTION TRAILERS;
PROVIDING FOR THE BUILDING OFFICIAL TO
HAVE PERMITTING AUTHORITY; PROVIDING
THAT EACH AND EVERY PROVISION OF CHAPTER
25, AND SECTION 25-7 NOT SPECIFICALLY
AMENDED HEREIN SHALL REMAIN IN FULL
FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ENACTED;
PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE; PROVIDING
A SEVERABILITY CLAUSe; PROVIDING
AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOY1TTO}~ BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1.
That Chapter 25, Section 25-7. Exemption
for construction trailers, is hereby amended by adding the
words .and.-.figures in underlined type and by deleting the
words and figures ink-.struck-through type as follows:
Section 25-7. Exemption for construction trailers.
Section 25-6 above shall not apply to
the utilization of a trailer as a
temporary construction office located on
a building site within the city provided
that prior to such utilization, a
specific permit for same shall be
obtained from ~he -e~y -e~e~ -a~e~
app~va~-by the building official'~ The
e~y--e~e~ building official 'shall
have the right and privilege to impose
reasonable restrictions regarding 'the
public health, safety and welfare in
connection with the issuance of suCh
temporary permits.
Section 2. Each and every other provision of
Chapter 25 and Section 25-7 not specifically amended herein
shall remain in full force and effect, as previously
enacted.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. Should any section or provision of this
ordinance or portion hereof, any paragraph, sentence, or
word be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall not affect the remainder of
this ordinance.
