AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE 88-48 TO CORRECT A
SCRIVENER'S ERROR CONTAINED THEREIN
RELATING TO IDENTITY OF THE OWNERS AND
AGENTS REQUESTING ANNEXATION INTO THE
CITY;. PROVIDING THAT EACH AND EVERY
OTHER TERM AND PROVISION OF ORDINANCE
NO. 88-48 SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND
EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ENACTED; PROVIDING
FOR CODIFICATION;-PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on the 6th day of December, 1988, the City
Commission of the City of Boynton Beach; Florida, duly
adopted Ordinance No. 88-48; and
WHEREAS, it appears that a scrivener's error was made
in said Ordinance by incorrectly identifying the agents and
owners of said land to be annexed into this City; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission now desires to correct
said scrivener's error.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That all references to Michael D. Gordon
and Enrico Rossi as agents for Intercoastal Development,
Inc., owners, appearing in Ordinance No. 88-48 are hereby
amended by substitution of Boynton Nurseries, Inc., as the
properly identified applicant for annexation.
Section 2: Each and every other provision of Ordinance
No. 88-48 shall remain in full force and effect as
previously enacted.
Section 3: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
