A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THE RELEASE OF SURETY ISSUED BY AMWEST
SURETY INSURANCE COMPANY (NO. 030000779), IN
FULL, ~O ENGLE HOMES/PALM BEACH, INC., IN
CONNECTION WITH THE QUAIL RUN - PHASE II AND
III PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Quail Run engaged in the above project requiring, surety pursuant to
the City of Boynton Beach Code of Ordinances; and
WHEREAS, Engle Homes/Palm Beach, Inc., through AmWest Surety Insurance
Company provided said surety in the amount of $598,867.50 as a guarantee for the required
improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission partially released surety to the total amount of
$36,100.00 on June 20, 1995; and
WItEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, based upon the
recommendation of city staff has determined that the remaining surety in the amount of
$36,100.00 should be released by the City of Boynton Beach.
NOW, THERE FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, based
upon the recommendation of staff, hereby approves the release of the surety in the amount of
$36,100.00, to Engle Homes/Palm Beach, Inc., developer.
Section 2. That this Resolution'shall become effective immediately upon passage.
