4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
5 BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING A THREE
6 MONTH EXTENSION OF THE "NOTICE OF INTENT"
7 APPROVED BY RESOLUTION NO. 05-060; AND
8 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

10 i WHEREAS, the City Commission approved a Notice of Intent (NOI #2005-1) by
11 Resolution R05-060 on April 19, 2005; and
12 WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent was to be in effect from the date of adoption and
13 thereafter for a maximum period of six (6) months, unless otherwise extended by the City
14 Commission by subsequent Resolution following public hearing; and
15 WHEREAS, staff has recommended the three (3) month extension to January 16,2006
16 allow additional time for the review of consultant recommendations, the consideration of related
17 data being assembled as part of a county-wide effort and for the completion of regulations or
18 other recommendations.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
20 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:

Section 1.
The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
22 being true and COiTect and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
23 hereof.

Section 2.,
The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does hereby
25 extend the Notice of Intent #2005-1, originally approved by Resolution No. R05-060, for an
26 additional three (3) months, to expire on January 16, 2006.

Section 3.
That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
