4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
5 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
6 APPROVING THE "PIGGY-BACK" OF A TOWN OF
7 PALM BEACH #2003-13 AND PINELLAS COUNTY
8' BID #001-0698B WITH INSITUFORM
9 I TECHNOLOGIES, INC., OF JACKSONVILLE,
10' FLORIDA TO RELINE WASTE\VATER PIPELINES
11 AND STORM WATER CURED IN PLACE PIPE
12! REHABILITATION FOR A TOTAL OF $452,109.90;
13 AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

15 \VHEREAS, upon recommendation of staff, it is the City's desire to accept the
16 proposal of Insituform Technologies, Inc., of Jacksonville, Florida and "piggy-back" a
17 Contract utilizing Town of Palm Beach #2003-13 and Pinellas County, Florida, Bid #001-
18 0698B to reline wastewater pipelines in the amount of $281,183.00 plus a 10%
19 contingency of $28,118.30 for a total of $309,301.30 and Stormwater cured in place pipe
20 rehabilitation in the amount of 5129,826.00 plus a 10% contingency of $12,982.60 for a
21 total of$142,808.60 and a total expenditure of5452,109.90.
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
23 OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:

Section 1.
The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed
25 as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon
26 adoption.
27 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby
28 approves the proposal of Insituform Technologies, Inc., of Jacksonville. Florida and
29 "piggy-back" a Contract utilizing Town of Palm Beach #2003-13 and Pinellas County,
30 Florida, Bid #001-0698B to reline wastewater pipelines in the amount of$281,183.00 plus

1 a 10% contingency of $28,118.30 for a total of $309,301.30 and Stormwater cured in
2 place pipe rehabilitation in the amount of $129,826.00 plus a 10% contingency of
3 $12,982.60 for a total of$142,808.60 and a total expenditure ofS452,109.90.

Section 3.
That this Resolution shall become effective immediately.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5 day of October, 2005.
