AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 2. ADMINISTRATION. OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, SECTION 2-13.5
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT ADVISORY BOARD
FOR THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT;
CREATED, APPOINTMENT, TERMS, DUTIES, TO
PROVIDE FOR MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR
APPOINTMENT, MEMBERSHIP; PROVIDING THAT
EACH AND EVERY OTHER SECTION OF CHAPTER
2 NOT HEREIN SPECIFICALLY AMENDED SHALL
REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY,
CODIFICATION AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton
each, Florida, deems it to be in the best interests of the
itizens and residents of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
o set forth certain criteria for minimum qualifications for
ppointment, membership to the Community Redevelopment
dvisory Board for the Central Business District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
F THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1.
That Chapter 2. Administration, Section
-13.5 is hereby amended by adding the words and figures in
nderlined type and by deleting the words and figures in
trUCk-through type as follows:
Sec. 2-13.5. Community redevelopment
advisory board for the central business
district; created, appointment, terms,
duties.

(a) There is hereby created a
five-member community redevelopment
advisory board for the central business
district (CRAB-CBD) to provide
recommendations to the community
redevelopment agency for matters
relating to the central business
district. In selecting individua18 to
serve on said board, preference shall be
given to individuals who are resident8
of the City of Boynton Beach, provided
however, that non-re8ident8 who own
and/or operate bU8ine88es located within
the city may a180 qualify for
apPOintment provided they posse88
qualifications or experience uniquely
suited to deal with the 8ubject matter
over which the board has subject matter
review or power.
Section 2.
That each and every other provision in
hapter 2 not herein specifically amended shall remain in
ull force and effect.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
n conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4.
Should any section or provision of this
rdinance or portion hereof, any paragraph, sentence, or
ord be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be
nvalid, such decision shall not affect the remainder of
his ordinance.
Section 5. Authority is hereby granted to codify said
rdinance.
Section 6.
This ordinance shall, become effective
mmediately upon passage.
