AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
APPENDIX A, SECTION 6. E.4.c.(2)., TO PROVIDE FOR
A CHANGE FROM 800 FEET TO 1,000 FEET FOR
REQUIRED PARKING SPACES; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida deems
it to be in the best interests of the residents and citizens of the City of Boynton Beach,
to amend Appendix A, Section 6/E.4.c.(2). to provide for a change from 800 feet to
1,000 feet for required parking spaces, to make this section consistent with other
sections of the Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. That Appendix A, Section 6. E.4.c.(2). is hereby amended by
adding the words and figures in underlined type, and by deleting the words and figures
in struck-through type, as follows:
c. Location of parking spaces:
(2) Notwithstanding provisions of section 11.1., in the
CBD, required parking spaces shall be owned or leased

The distance reouirement shall be a straioht line
measurement from a point on the boundary line of the
property, which is the subject of the application to the
closest boundary line of the oroDertv on which the leased
parking i~ located. The proper;Iv, which is the subiect of
the application, shall be posted with sianaae indicatina to
patrons the location of the leased parking.
Section 2. If any clause, section or other part of application of this Ordinance
shall be held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid,
such unconstitutional or invalid part or application shall be considered as eliminated
and so not effecting the validity of the remaining portions or applications remaining in
full force and effect.
Section 3, All ordinances or parts of ordinances, resolutions or parts of
resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict.
Section 4. Authority is hereby given to Codify said Ordinance.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
