5 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
6 BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA DESIGNATING N.E. 2ND
7 AVENUE EAST OF U.S. HIGHWAY ONE (FEDERAL
8 HIGHWAY) AS BOYNTON BEACH BOULEVARD;
9 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

12 WHEREAS, N.E. 2nd Avenue east of U.S. Highway One is aligned with Boynton
13 Beach Boulevard and constitutes a nature extension of Boynton Beach Boulevard; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that the public commonly refers the that
15 segment ofN.E. 2nd Avenue as Boynton Beach Boulevard.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
17 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:

Section 1.
Each Whereas clause set forth above IS true and correct and
19 incorporated herein by this reference.

Section 2.
N.E.2nd Avenue east of U.S. Highway One herby designated Boynton
21 Beach Boulevard and all City maps, signs, and directional references shall heretofore refer to
22 that roadway extension as Boynton Beach Boulevard.

Section 3.
That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
