A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE CART STORAGE
BUILDING WITH SHORELINE FOUNDATION, INC.;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the construction of a golf cart storage facilitY has been a part
of the capital improvement plans of the City of Boynton Beach Municipal Golf
Course for the past ten years; and
WHEREAS, Shoreline Foundation, Inc. is the lowest, most responsible
bidder to BID #022-725-98/CJD; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that it is in the best
interests of the residents of the City to enter into a contract with Shoreline
Foundation, Inc. for the construction of a municipal golf course cart storage
building.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
does hereby authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a Contract
between the City of Boynton Beach and Shoreline Foundation, Inc. for the
construction of a municipal golf course cart storage building at the Boynton
Beach Municipal Golf Course, a copy of said agreement is attached hereto as
Exhibit "A."
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately .upon
passage.
