R97-197 RESOLUTION R97:/?,?' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, DOES HEREBY APPROVE THE CONVEYANCE OF THREE PROPERTIES IN ROLLING GREEN RIDGE 2ND ADDITION TO THE HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF BOCA-DELRAY-BOYNTON BEACH; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE cONVEYANCE DOCUMENTS FOR SAID PARCELS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Habitat for Humanity of.Boca-Delray is expanding it's base to include the Boynton Beach-area; and WHEREAS, this world-wide organization assists Iow income people in building homes, and is seeking land from municipalities in order to make the projects affordable; and WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach does have three lots available in the Rolling Green Ridge 2nd Addition which it desires to donate to this project, to be utilized for two (2) single-family dwellings built for Iow income families; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does hereby approve the conveyance of three lots located in the Rolling Green Ridge 2nd Addition, which are described more fully in Exhibit "A" attached hereto to the Habitat for Humanity of Boca-Delray-Boynton Beach, and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute all necessary conveyance doCuments. Section 2. This Resolution will become effective immediately passage.
