A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SPECIAL
WARRANTY DEED CONVEYING SPECIFIC
PROPERTY IN HAPPY HOME HEIGHTS
SUBDIVISION TO MELISSA MOORE-GALVAN AS
PART OF THE CITY'S INFILL CONSTRUCTION
PROGRAM; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Melissa Moore-Galvan has been approved for a
mortgage as a participant in the CitY of Boynton Beach Infill
Construction Program; and
WHEREAS, MelJssa Moore-Galvan has selected a city-owned lot
in Happy Home Heights Subdivision and desires to build a single family
home on said lot; and
WHEREAS, the construction of single-family housing in existing
subdivisions throughout the City is encouraged for the purpose of
Community revitalization and increased taxable value; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
based upon staff recommendation, finds it to be in the best interests of
the community and its residents to. convey the below-described
property to Melissa Moore-Galvan for the purpose of constructing a
single family home.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY. COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of'the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida does hereby authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute a Special Warranty Deed conveying certain property in
Happy Home Heights Subdivision to Melissa Moore-Galvan as part of
the City's Infill Construction Program. A copy of the Special Warranty
Deed is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. This ResOlution will become effective immediately
upon passage.
