AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
SECTION 16-82 OF THE CODIFIt'~ ORDINANCES
OF ~ CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
RULES AND RE~3LATIONS CONTROLLING PARKING
OF VEHICLES AT MUNICIPAL BEACH PROPERTY
LOCATED WITHIN ~ TOWN OF OCEAN RIDGE;
PROVIDING FOR A REPEALING CLAUSE;
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING AN
EFFEETIVE DATE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, /TEEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Section 16-82 of the Codified Ordinances of the
City of Boynton Beach, Florida, concerning procedures for issuing beach
parking permits, concerning fees for reissuing permits for motor vehicles
on the City's Municipal Beach Property within the Town of Ocean Ridge,
Florida, is hereby amended by eliminating and adding wording as indicated
below:

Permanent beach parking permit decals shall be issued at a charge
of $5.00 only to residents .owning, leasing, renting, occupying or
residinq in real estate in the City for at least six (6) months of
each year. Temporary parking permits shall be issued to residents
owning, leasing, renting, occupying or residing in the City for
less that six months at a charge of $5.00. Proof of six (6)
months' residency, if property is not owned, ~hall be established
by lease agreements, rent receipts or written lessor verification.

LOST OR MUTILATED PARKING PERMITS. In the event that the vehicle
to which the permanent decal was issued has be~n sold or otherwise
changed ownership and/or in the event the holders of a properly
issued parking decal is mutilated and can be identified, such
decal will be replaced for a charge of $3.00 provided the holder
can return an identifiable .portion of the mutilated parking decal
to the City. In the event the holder of a lost or mutilated
parking permit cannot provide an identifiable portion or part of
such parking

(8) Parking permits issued to motorcycles, motor bikes, and motor
scooters shall be displayed on the left front fork of such vehicle
or other visible location in the area of the left front.
Section 2. All provisions of Section 16-82 of the Codified
Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach to which reference is not made
will continue to be in effect as previously adopted.
Section 3. Ail Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed o
Section 4. That should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof be declared by a court of competent
jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the
remainder of this Ordinance.
