3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
4 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH APPROVING THE
5 RECLASSIFICATION OF THE SENIOR BUYER
6 POSITION IN THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT TO
7 PURCHASING AGENT, PAY GRADE 25; PROVIDING
8 AND EFFECTIVE DATE.

10 WHEREAS, the recent vacancies in the Finance Department have allowed staff time
11 to review the job duties and responsibilities of several positions in the Finance Department;
12 and
13 WHEREAS, in order to facilitate these changes and provide for better distribution of
14 workload, it is recommended that the Senior Buyer, pay grade 15, be upgraded to
15 Purchasing Agent, pay grade 25.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
17 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH FLORIDA:
18 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
19 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
20 hereof.

Section 2:
The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach hereby approves
22 the reclassification of the Senior Buyer position in the Finance Department to Purchasing
23 Agent, pay grade 25.

Section 3:
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
