AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 85-48 TO
CORRECT A CLERICAL ERROR CONTAINED THEREIN
RELATING TO THE APPROPRIATION OF MONEYS
TO THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE PAYMENT OF
OPERATING EXPENSES AND NECESSARY CAPITAL
OUTLAYS OF THE CITY; PROVIDING THAT EACH
AND EVERY OTHER TERM AND PROVISION OF
ORDINANCE NO. 85-48 SHALL REMAIN IN FULL
FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ENACTED;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on the 24th day of September, 1985, the City
Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, duly adopted
Ordinance No. 85-48, thereby adopting a final budget for its
fiscal year beginning October 1, 1985 and ending September 30,
1986; and
WHEREAS, it appears that a clerical error was made in
Section 2 of said Ordinance in that the amount of money to be
appropriated to the General Fund for the payment of operating
expenses and necessary capital outlays for the City was incorrectl
set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to correct said
clerical error.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON PEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 85-48 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2. That there is hereby
appropriated the sum of
$15,864,196 to the General Fund for
the payment of operating expenses
and necessary capital outlays for the
City Government pursuant to the terms
of the above budget.
Section 2: Each and every other provision of Ordinance
No. 85-48 shall remain in full force and effect as previously
enacted.
Section 3: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
