A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, RATIFYING THE ACTION TAKEN BY THE SOUTH
CENTRAL REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND
DISPOSAL BOARD, ON JANUARY 17, 2008, AS STATED
HEREIN; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
AGREEMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment & Disposal Board
(SCRWTDB) requests ratification of the action taken by the Board at the Quarterly Meeting of
January 17, 2008, as set forth in the attached Exhibit "A".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section I. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption.
Section 2. The City Commission does hereby ratifY the action taken by the South
Central Regional Wastewater Treatment & Disposal Board on January 17, 2008, as set forth on
the attached Exhibit "A".
Section 3.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this ~ day of February, 2008.

RATIFICATION OF SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL
WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL BOARD
ACTION OF JANUARY 17, 2008
WHEREAS, the South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Board did
on JANUARY 17, 2008, by a vote of 7-0, Authorization to expend up to
$50,000 on miscellaneous items (soil and concrete testing, permit, and
legal issues) for construction of 24-MGD Reuse Expansion. Cost to be
split 50/50 from Cities' Capital Fund.
WHEREAS, said Board action requires ratification by the City of Boynton Beach and the
City of Delray Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Boynton hereby ratifies said Board action independently.
The above action is hereby ratified in open session by the City of Boynton Beach this

ACTION OF JANUARY 17, 2008
WHEREAS, the South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Board did
on JANUARY 17, 2007, by a vote of 7-0, Authorization to increaser JJ
Kirlin's Contract for construction of the 24-MGD Reuse Expansion with
Change Order 1 by $994.278.22 increasing the total Contract from
$9.912.500.00 to $10.906.778.22. Action to be ratified by both Cities' and
the amount is to be split 50/50 from each City's Capital Funds.
WHEREAS, said Board action requires ratification by the City of Boynton Beach and the
City of Delray Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Boynton hereby ratifies said Board action independently.
The above action is hereby ratified in open session by the City of Boynton Beach this

Order No.2 by $4.319.00 decreasing the total contract from $5.413.322.00
to $5.409.003.00. Action to be ratified by both Cities and the amount is to
be split 50/50 from each City's Capital Funds.
WHEREAS, said Board action requires ratification by the City of Boynton Beach and the
City of Delray Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Boynton hereby ratifies said Board action independently.
