A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
THE AWARD OF A BID FOR -THE REHABILITATION
AND RECONFIGURATION OF MASTER LIFT
STATIONS 309 & 356, TO SOUTH FLORIDA UTILITIES,
INC.; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND
SOUTH FLORIDA UTILITIES, INC., AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were opened on July 22, 1997, by the Purchasing
Division and South Florida Utilities, Inc., of Plantation, Florida, was selected
as the most complete and responsive bidder who met and exceeded all
specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, hereby approves the award of a bid for the rehabilitaiton and
reconfiguration of Master Lift Stations 309 & 356 (Bid #055-401-97/SP), to
South Florida Utilities, Inc., and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute an Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach and South
Florida Utilities, Inc., a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. That this
