A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT 002 TO THE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH (IICITY"), AND PALM BEACH
COUNTY(I'COUNTY"), PROVIDING FOR EXTENSION
OF THE PROJECT COMPLETION DATE FOR PARK
IMPROVEMENTS TO EZELL HESTER PARK FROM
NOVEMBER 30, 1997 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1998; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City and County entered into an agreement on June
18, 1996~ and amended on April 1, 1997, to provide $347,193 of
Community Development Block Grant funds for certain park
improvements to Ezell Hester Park in the City of Boynton Beach; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend said Agreement to extend the
project completion date, and incorporate certain requirements into the
agreement; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida does hereby authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute Amendment 001 to the Agreement between the City of Boynton
Beach and Palm Beach County, said Amendment being attached hereto
.... as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
Section 2.
This Resolution will become effective 'mmediately upon
PASSED AND ADOPTED this ~ day of August, 1997.
