A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT 003 TO THE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH ("CITY"), AND PALM BEACH
COUNTY("COUNTY"), PROVIDING FOR EXTENSION
OF THE PROJECT COMPLETION DATE FOR
DEVELOPMENT OF PALMETTO GREENS PARK FROM
SEPTEMBER 30, 1997 TO APRIL 30, 1998; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City and County entered
into an agreement on
February 21~, 1995, with amendments thereto on March 19, 1996 and
February 4, 1997, to provide $229,508 of Community Development Block
Grant funds for certain park improvements in the City of Boynton Beach;
and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend said Agreement To extend the
project completion date, and incorporate certain requirements into the
agreement; and
NOW, THEREFOREr BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida does hereby authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute Amendment 003 to the Agreement between the City of Boynton
Beach and Palm Beach County, said Amendment being attached hereto
as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
Section 2. This Resolution will become effective immediately upon
passage.
