A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE ADDENDUM NO. 2 TO THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND THE
TOWN OF OCEAN RIDGE, DATED NOVEMBER 16, 1990,
PROVIDING FOR INSTALLATION OF A 12 INCH
DIAMETER DUCTILE IRON WATER MAIN WITHIN THE
CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH FOR
THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING WATER SERVICE AND
FIRE-FLOW TO THE TOWN OF OCEAN RIDGE; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The Town of Ocean Ridge (Town) and the City of Boynton
Beach (City), entered into an Agreement on November, 1990, and;
WHEREAS, the Town desires to install a 12-inch diameter ductile iron
water main within the City limits of Boynton Beach, for the purpose of
improving water service and fire-flow to the Town; and
WHEREAS, the Town is willing to transfer ownership and of said ductile
'ton water main to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to connect additiona lines and water
services into said ductile 'ton water main; and
WHEREAS, The Town requires certain minimum pressure and flow
through said ductile iron water main in order to assure adequate fire
protection and water service to its residents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CiTY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
does hereby-authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a
Second Addendum to the Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach
and the Town of Ocean Ridge, which Addendum is attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
Section 2.
