A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE DEVE_OPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA AND OCEAN
BREEEZE FESTIVAL PARK, INC., PROVIDING FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF THE 6.93 ACRES COMMONLY
REFERRED TO AS THE "MARINA PROJECT"; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, upon recommendation of staff, the City Commission has
determined that it is in the best interests of the residents of the City to execute a
Development Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach and Ocean Breeze
Festival Park, Inc., providing for the development of the 6.93 acres of land
commonly referred to as the "Marina Project"; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
does hereby authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a
Development Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach and Ocean Breeze
Festival Park, Inc., providing for the development of the 6.93 acres of land
commonly referred to as the "Marina Project".
Section 2. That this Resolution will become effective immediately upon
passage.
