A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SITE LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA AND NEXTEL
COMMUNICATIONS PROVIDING FOR THE USE OF
NECESSARY SPACE FOR THE CO-LOCATION OF A
WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS ANTENNA ON THE
EXISTING SPRINT SPECTRUM MONOPOLE LOCATED AT
222 N.E. 9TM AVENUE (PUBLIC WORKS COMPOUND);
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, upon recommendation of staff, the City Commission has
determined that it is in the best interests of the residents of the City to execute a
Site License Agreement, between the City of Boynton Beach and Nextel
Communications, providing for the use of necessary space for the co-location of a
wireless communications antenna on the existing Sprint Spectrum Monopole
located at 222 N.E. 9th Avenue; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
does hereby authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a Site
License Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach and Nextel Communications
the form of which shall be approved by the City Attorney, for a term co-extensive
with the Sprint base Lease Agreement
