R97-.~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONSENT TO THE LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA AND SPRINT SPECTRUM L.P., PERMITTING THE CO-LOCATION OF A NEXTEL WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS ANTENNA ON THE EXISTING SPRINT SPECTRUM MONOPOLE LOCATED AT 222 N.E. 9TM AVENUE (PUBLIC WORKS COMPOUND); AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, upon recommendation of staff, the City Commission has determined that it is in the best interests of the residents of the City to execute an Addendum to the Lease Agreement, dated August 6, 1996, between the City of Boynton Beach and Sprint Spectrum L. P., permitting the co-location of a wireless communications antenna on the existing Sprint SpeCtrum Monopole located at 222 N.E. 9th Avenue; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does hereby authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a Consent to the co-location of a Nextel antenna and support structure thereto pursuant to the Agreement, dated August 6, 1996, between the City of Boynton Beach and Sprint Spectrum, L.P., and conditioned upon execution of a Site License Agreement between Nextel and the City of Boynton Beach.
