A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO
THE AGREEMENT, BETWEEN THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH AND PALM BEACH COUNTY,
PROVIDING FOR AN EXTENSION OF THE
PROJECT COMPLETION DATE FOR IMPROVEMENTS
TO EZELL HESTER PARK; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach (City) and Palm Beach
County (County) entered into an Agreement on June 18, 1996, to
provide $347,193 of Community Development Block Grant Funds
for Ezell Hester Park improvements in the City of Boynton
Beach; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto wish to extend the project
completion date from March 31, 1997 to November 30, 1997; and ....
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute an Amendment to the Agreement between the City of
Boynton Beach and Palm Beach County, extending the project
completion date to March 31, 1997, a copy of said Amendmen5
being attached hereto as Exhibit ~A~ and made a part hereof.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon passage.

AMENDMENT 001 TO THE .AGREEMENT
WITH
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH
Amendment 001 entered into this
day of APR 0 1 19 ,?1997 by and between
Palm Beach County and the City of BOYNTON BEACH.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, Palm Beach County entered into an agreement with the City of
BOYNTON BEACH on June 18, 1996 approved by Document R96-771D, to provide
$347,193 of Community Development Block Grant funds for Ezell Hester Park
improvements in the City of Boynton Beach; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to extend the project completion date; and
WHEREAS, both parties mutually agree that the original agreement entered into on
June 18, 1996, is hereby amended as follows:
A. Part !11 - Section 1: Maximum Compensation line 10 · Substitute "November 30,
1997" for "March 31, 1997". '
B. Part III - Section 2: Time of Performance ,last lin,": Substitute UNovember 30,
1997" for "March 31,1997".
C. Exhibit-A-Section ID Work Schedule:
Omit the existing and substitute the following:
