A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCPETING A
PROPOSAL BY C B GOLDSMITH ASSOCIATES, INC.,
TO PERFORM ADMINISTRATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES FOR FORENSIC INVESTIGATION AND
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT DOCUMENTS IN
ASSOCIATION WITH REHABILATATION OF CITY
BUILDINGS; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
ATTORNEY TO NEGOTIATE A FINAL FORM OF
CONTRACT;. AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH AND CB GOLDSMITH & ASSOCATES, INC. AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City is engaged ina rehabilitation project for several city
facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City has engaged PureAir Control Services, Inc., to act as
consultatnt for said project and to make recommendaitons regarding professional
services associated with same; and
WHEREAS, PureAir Control Servies Inc., has screened qualified applicants to
provide professional services and has made a recommendation to the City that it retain
CB Goldsmith & Associates, Inc., to perform professional services as set forth in the
proposal submitted to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The city hereby approves the recommendation of PureAir Control
Services, Inc., to retain CB Goldsmith & Associates, Inc., under the terms and
conditions set forth in the proposal submitted by CB Goldsmith & Associates, Inc.
Section 2. The City Attorney is hereby directed to negotiate a definitive
agreement between the City of Boynton Beach and CB Goldsmith & Associates, Inc.,
for forensic services and contract preparation.
