A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A
PROPOSAL BY LANG ENGINEERING OF FLORIDA, INC.,
TO PERFORM CONTRACTING SERVICES UNDER THE
SUPERVISION OF PURE-AIR CONTROL SERVICES,
INC., FOR CLEANING AND ANTIMlCROBIAL
TREATMENT OF CITY BUILDINGS; AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO NEGOTIATE A
FINAL FORM OF CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH AND LANG ENGINEERING OF
FLORIDA, INC., AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City is engaged in a rehabilitation project for several city
facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City has engaged PureAir Control Services, Inc., to act as
consultant for said-project and to make recommendations regarding professional
services associated with same; and
WHEREAS, PureAir Control Services Inc., has screened qualified applicants to
provide professional services and has made a recommendation to the City that it retain
Lang Engineering of Florida, Inc., to perform professional services as set forth in the
proposal submitted to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City hereby approves the recommendation of PureAir Control
Services, Inc., to retain Lang Engineering of Florida, Inc., under the terms and
conditions set forth in the proposal submitted by Lang Engineering of Florida, Inc.
Section 2. The City Attorney is hereby directed to negotiate a definitive
agreemenl between the City of Boynton Beach and Lang Engineering of Florida, Inc.,
for cleaning and antimicrobial treatment of buildings.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
passage.
