A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND THE
STATE OF FLORIDA, DEPARTMENT OF
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, PROVIDING FOR A
TIME EXTENSION FOR THE GRANT AGREEMENT
FROM APRIL 1, 1997 TO OCTOBER 1, 1997
REGARDING THE DOWNTOWN MANGROVE PARK;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City has previously entered into an Agreement with the State
of Florida, Department of Environmental Protection on May 4, 1994, which was
amended on January 15, 1996, for the approved recreational project known as
Downtown Mangrove Park, Project #F94001; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereby agree to extend
the date of all project
construction to October 1, 1997;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement above reference, said Amendment being
attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.

to as GRANTEE, for the approved recreational project known as

shall apply to the above reference Agreement:
