AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY BY AMENDING
THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN PARCELS
OF LAND WHICH ARE MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
HEREIN; SAID LAND USE DESIGNATION IS BEING
CHANGED FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO
INDUSTRIAL; AMENDING ANY ~PS ADOPTED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF
THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN ACCORDINGLY; PROVIDING
A CONFLICTS-.CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, A~D
AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, ~
Florida, has adopted a Comprehensive Land Use Plan and as part o~
said Plan, a Land Use Element by Ordinance No. 79-24, in
accordance with the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act;
and
WHEREAS, the procedure for amendment of a Land Use
Element of a Comprehensive Plan as set forth in Section 163.3184,
Florida Statutes, has been followed; and
WHEREAS, after public hearing and study, the City Council
deems it in the best interests of the inhabitants of said City
to amend the aforesaid Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan
as adopted by the City herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 79-24 of the City is
hereby amended to reflect that the Land Use of the following
described land is hereby changed from Low Density Residential to
Industrial. Said parcel of land is more particularly described
as follows:

Section 2: That any maps adopted in accordance with the
Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan shall be amended
accordingly.
Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4: Should any section or provision of this
Ordinance or any portion thereof be declared by a court of
competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not
affect the remainder'of this Ordinance.
Section 5: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
