AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH
AMENDING THE CITY ORGANIZATIONAL CHART,
PROVIDING FOR A REPEALING CLAUSE;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the
City of Boynton Beach, Florida, to update the City
Organizational Chart by eliminating the direct assignment of
the Occupational License Division from the City Manager's
Office;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Chapter 2, "Administration",
Art~icle 1, Section 2.1 be amended by substituting the
~ttached City of Boynton Beach Organizational Chart dated
December 20, 1983 for the current Organizational Chart.
Section 2. That remaining provisions of Chapter 2,
which would not conflict with the provisions of Section 1 are
hereby ratified and reaffirmed.
Section 3. That Chapter 13 be amended by eliminat-
ing the phrase, "Occupational License Clerk" in Section 13-2,
Section 13-3, Section 13-10 and Section 13-11.
Section 4. That all .Ordinances or parts of
Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5. Should any Section or provisions of this
Ordinance or portion hereof be declared by a court of com-
petent jurisdiction to be valid, such decision should not
affect the remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 6. That this Ordinance should'be effective
immediately upon its passage.
~Section 7. That authority is hereby granted to
codify this Ordinance.
