A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
APPROVING A UTILITY RELOCATION SCHEDULE
AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING JOHN A.
GUIDRY, DIRECTOR OF UTILITIES TO EXECUTE
A UTILITY RELOCATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND THE STATE
OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
AGREEMENT AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, on July 16, 1996, the City Commission entered
into a Joint Project Agreement with the F.D.O.T., for the
relocation of valve boxes and manholes; and
WHEREAS, the City Utility Department also needs to
relocate four hydrants and six lengths of water main, and a
schedule is needed so that work may proceed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida hereby approves a utility relocation schedule
and authorizes and directs John A. Guidry, Director of
Utilities, to execute a Utility Relocation Agreement with
the State of Florida Department of Transportation, a copy of
which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. This Resolution will become effective
immediately upon passage.
