A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SCHOOL
DISTRICT OF PALM BEACH COUNTY AND THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH TO PROVIDE TRAINING AND
CLINICAL INTERNSHIP TIME FOR E.MT. STUDENTS;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAs, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida deems
it to be in the best interests of the residents and citizens of the City to enter into a
Agreement with the School District of Palm Beach County providing training for
emergency medical technology (EMT) students from the vocational-technical education
programs~for supervised learning experiences in the care of patients; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission does hereby authorize and direct the Mayor
and City Clerk to execute an Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach and the
School District of Palm Beach County, which provides for training for emergency
medical technology (EMT) students, said Agreement being attached hereto as Exhibit
