A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING
AND CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY CITY
MANAGER CARRIE PARKER, OF ELIZABETH DIANE
REESE AS FINANCE DIRECTOR/TREASURER OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, due to the retirement of Finance Director Grady Swann, a vacancy
has been-created; and
WHEREAS; pursuant to the Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida all
officers of the City shall be appointed by the City Manager, subject to the confirmation
by the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, has
recommended that Elizabeth Diane Reese be appointed as Finance Director/Treasurer
of the City of Boynton Beach, at an annual salary of $58,905.60, at Grade 41, Step 4,
with an effective date of June 6, 1996, with a one year probationary period.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida hereby
approves and confirms the appointment of Elizabeth
Diane Reese as Finance Director/Treasurer of the City of Boynton Beach.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
