R96- 36 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, RATIFYING ACTION TAKEN BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON MARCH 19, 1996, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND ABRAMSON & ASSOCIATES, PROVIDING FOR REAL ESTATE ADVISORY SERVICES TO THE CITY RELATIVE TO THE DOWNTOWN MARINA PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it to be in the best interests of the residents and citizens of the City to enter into a Contract with Abramson & Associates, to provide evaluation, strategic input and negotiation assistance concerning public-private financing and disposition structuring relative to the development proposal for the Downtown Marina Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does hereby authorize and direct the City Manager to execute a Contract between the City of Boynton Beach and Abramson & Associates, to provide evaluation, strategic input and negotiation assistance concerning public-private financing and disposition structuring relative to the development proposal for the Downtown Marina Project, a copy of which is attached hereto as composite Exhibit "A".
