4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
5 FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
6 MANAGER TO EXECUTE A SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE
7 AND SUPPORT QUOTATION IN THE AMOUNT OF
8 $31,745.00 FOR THE CITY'S G.I.S SYSTEM, BETWEEN THE
9 CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND ESRI, INC.; AND
10 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

13 WHEREAS, the annual maintenance provides free software upgrades, 24/7 technical
14 support, GIS User newsletters and magazines and free registration for 3 users at the Annual
15 : mS Users Conference; and

16 WHEREAS, staff has recommended that the City approve and execute the Quotation
17 25375342 dated October 26,2009 in the amount of$31,745.00.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
19 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:

21 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
22 eing true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
23 ereof.
24 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, at the
25 ecommendation of staff, hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to execute the
26 aintenance Quotation #25375342 dated October 26, 2009, in the amount of $3 1.745.00
27 etween the City of Boynton Beach, Florida and ESRI, Inc., a copy of said Quotation is
28 ttached hereto as Exhibit "A".
29 Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
