4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
5 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
6 APPROVING THE "PIGGY-BACK" OF A CITY OF
7 PALM BAY CONTRACT #39-0-2007/SB WITH
8 AQUIFER MAINTENANCE AND PERFORMANCE
9 SYSTEMS, INC., OF WEST PALM BEACH,
10 FLORIDA, FOR WELL REHABILITATION
11 SERVICES ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS;
12 AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
13 TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT; AND PROVIDING AN
14 EFFECTIVE DATE.

16 WHEREAS, City staff has confirmed that the City of Palm Bay has complied with
17 Public Contract Bid requirements which equal or exceed the City of Boynton Beach's
18 requirements; and
19 WHEREAS, upon recommendation of staff, it is the City's desire to "piggy-back"
20 a City of Palm Bay Contract #39-0-2007/SB and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to
21 sign a Contract with Aquifer Maintenance and Performance Systems, Inc., of West Palm
22 Beach, Florida for well rehabilitation on an as-needed basis.
23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
24 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
25 Section I. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed
26 as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon
27 adoption.
28 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, hereby
29 approves the "piggy-back" of a City of Palm Bay Contract #39-0-2007/SB and authorizes
30 the Mayor and City Clerk to sign a Contract with Aquifer Maintenance and Performance

1 Systems, Inc., for well rehabilitation on an as-needed basis, a copy of the Agreement is
2 attached hereto as Exhibit "'A".
3 Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately.
