A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
DESIGNATING AN AREA WITHIN THE
BOUNDARIES OF THE BOYNTON BEACH
COMMUNTIY REDEVELOPMENT AREA A
BROWNFIELD AREA; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Florida Brownfield Redevelopment Act, Sec. .77
through.. Sec. 376.85, Fla. Stat. (2002) (Act) provides for local gove ents to
designat~ by resolution areas consisting of one or more brow Id sites as
"brownfieW'l!feas" for the purpose of environmental remedial" ,rehabilitation
and economic rw,evelopment; and

WHEREAS, t City of Boynton Beach, Frida, desires to designate,

WHEREAS, per Florida Statutes 376.80(1), any property own within
the Brownfield Area may have _their property removed from the pr osed
designation by requesting so in writing to the City, and,
WHEREAS, the City has complied with the procedures outlined in the
Act and has provided notice as required by Sec. 166.041(3)(c)2 Fla. Stat.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLROIDA,
THAT:

Section 2. The boundaries of the Brownfield Area are depicted on the
map prepared and provided by the Community Redevelopment Director which is
attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference. The
Brownfield Area lies completely within the boundaries of the Boynton Be
Community Redevelopment Area.
