S RELATED ACTIVITIES IN THE CITY OF BOYNTON
6 BEACH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

8 WHEREAS, the City Commission, pursuant to Part JJ!, "Land Development
9 Regulations", Chapter 20, "Buildings, Housing and Construction Regulations", Article I, "In
10 General", Section 3D and Section 4, has the authority to establish fees for Building
II Construction Rclated Activities pursuant to Resolution; and
12 WHEREAS, the City Commission for the City of Boynton Beach finds that the
13 adoption of this fee schedule is necessary and is in the best interest of the health, safety and
14 welfare of the citizens or residents of Boynton Beach.
1S NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION 01<-

The above referenced whereas clauses are incorporated herein by

The fees for Building and Construction Related Activities attached

hereto as Exhibit "A", incorporated herein by reference, are hereby adopted as the fee

schedule for those related activities as indicated on the Fee Schedule. A copy of the Fee
22
Schedule shall be maintained and made available for public inspection in the City Clerk's

This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage

Permit Fees are based on 2.3% of the value of the proposed construction, or 1.84% of the value of
the proposed construction when complete plan review andlor all required inspections are provided
by a licensed private provider, in accordance with 553.791, F.S.
Plans Filing Fees are calculated at 30% of the permit fee at the time of Permit Application for
building related permits. This fee is non-refundable or transferable.
(Additional Fees may be required, such as Capital Facility charges,
County and City Impact Fees, etc.)
