AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING
LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, CHAPTER 2.
ZONING, BY AMENDING SECTION 8.A.4.e.
COND~I-~ONAL USES TO ALLOW AS A CONDITIONAL
USE THE CU'I-F~NG OF SUB-PRIMAL PORTIONS OF
MEAT AND PRE-CUT POULTRY INTO SERVING
PORTIONS, INCLUDING PACKAGING AND SHIPPING;
BY AMENDING SECTION 8.A.5.a.(5). USES
PROHIBITED TO CLARIFY THE LIST OF PROHIBI-I'ED
USES;' PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS,
SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
has determined that it is in the best interests of the citizens and residents of the
City to amend certain sections of the Code of Ordinances to allow as a
conditional use the cutting of sub-primal portions of meat and pre-cut poultry
into serving portions, including packaging and shipping; and to clarify the list of
)rohibited uses; and
NOW THEREFOREf BE TT ORDATNED BY THE CTTY COMMI'SSI'ON

Section :L. Chapter 2, Zoning, Section 8.A.4.e. is hereby amended by
adding the words and figures in underlined type, and by deleting the words and
figures in struck-through type, as follows:
8.A. 4.(e) Cutting of sub-primal portions of meat and pre-cut poultry into
serving portions including packaging and shipping where pre-cut portions
enterinq the facility) will not exceed :LO pounds and waste generated will not
exceed 1% of pre-cut product.
Section 2. Chapter 2, Zoning, Section 8.A.5.a(5) is hereby amended by
adding the words and figures in underlined type, and by deleting the words and
figures in struck-through type, as follows:

Section 2. All laws and ordinances applying to the Ci~ of Boynton
Beach in conflict with any'provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Se~ion 3. Should any se~ion or provision of this Ordinance or any
~o~ion thereof be declared by a cou~ of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
;uch decision shall not affe~ the remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately.
