A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, RATIFYING
ACTIONS OF THE SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL
WASTE WATER TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL BOARD;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the South Central Regional Waste Water Treatment and
Disposal Board approved various actions on December 21, 1995, which actions
require ratification by the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed the actions taken by the
Board and deems them to be in the best interest of the City and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CiTY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
~ The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
hereby does hereby ratify the following actions of the South Central Regional
Waste Water Treatment and Disposal Board:
A. Amendment of Agreement between SCRW-I'&DB and International
Brotherhood of Fireman & Oilers Changing Article-XIX Wage
Classification from 1 to 5% to 0 to 6%.
B. Acceptance of Interlocal Agreement for Delray to temporarily utilize
Outfall pipeline during construction and testing of ASR well.
C. Expending $1,900.00 from Sinking Fund to replace 1/2 HP metering
pump at dechlorination building.
D. Expending $2,000.00 from Sinking Fund to replace fecal coliform
incubator.
E. Expending $7,100.00 from Sinking Fund to replace pH controller and
diaphragm feed pump for ammonia scrubber.
F. Expending $2,600.00 from Sinking Fund to replace a plant scrubber
starter.
G. Entering into Agreement with Delray Dunes, Pine Tree, Quail Ridge
and the Country Club of Florida for South Central Regional
Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Board concerning delivery and
acceptance of reclaimed water.
Entering into a contract with Brown and Caldwell to provide
permitting, design and construction services for the Northwest Reuse
Water System at a fee not to exceed $950,000.00.
Expending up to $11,000.00 for Team Land Development on a time
and material basis to repair the broken Outfall line in the ocean with
a stainless steel sleeve.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
