A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA AND
LAWSON, NOBLE & WEBB, INC., FOR DESIGN &
ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE HESTER PARK
FACILITY EXPANSION PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City has applied for and received $347,193.00
in funding from the Palm Beach County CDBG for Hester Park
facility expansion; and
WHEREAS, a contract proposal has been submitted by our
consulting engineers, Lawson, Noble & Webb, Inc., for design and
engineering services, which are necessary to institute the
project, which services will be funded through the grant funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
$~ The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida does hereby authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute a Contract between the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
and Lawson, Noble & Webb, Inc., providing for design and
engineering services for the Hester Park facility expansion
project, a copy of said Contract being attached hereto as
Exhibit "A"
~ That this Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
