A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT
OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH PROVIDING FOR THE
EXTENSION OF THE DEADLINE FOR THE
COMPLETION OF ALL PROJECT CONSTRUCTION
TO APRIL 1, 1997 FOR THE DOWNTOWN
MANGROVE PARK (PROJECT #F94001).
WHEREAS,
Mangrove Park (Project #F94001) has been delayed; and
WHEREAS, this Agreement will amend paragraph
agreement entered into between the parties on May 4, 1994,
due to unforeseen obstacles, the construction of Downtown
9 of the original
by extending the
deadline for completion of all project construction to April 1, 1997;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a
n Amendment to the Agreement, extending the project deadline for construction of
Downtown Mangrove Park to April 1, 1997, a copy of said Agreement being
attached hereto as Exhibit "A'1.

hereinafter referred to as DEPARTMENT, and the City of Boynton
Beach, hereinafter referred to as GRANTEE, for the recreational
Droject known as. Downtown ManGrove Park, Project #F94001.
In and for the mutual covenants between them, the DEPARTMENT
and the GRANTEE aqree that the followinq amendment shall aDDlv to
the above referenced A~reement: '
ParaGraDh 9 shall be amended as follows:
The GRANTEE shall comDlete all Droject construction and
submit all comDletion documentation on or before ADril 1, 1997.
In all other resDects the A~reement of which this is an
Amendment and attachments relative thereto shall remain in full
force and effect.
